This morning we had a wonderful worship and reflection session lead by my good friend Elijah. We went and prayed through a multitude of Psalms alone and together. We were encouraged to write out our own Psalm or prayer to God. What’s below is my Psalm to God inspired by a multitude of Psalms where David sends up his constant thanksgivings as well as his pleads with God. This is my Psalm which expresses my gratitude for all God has done in my life as well as sharing in my heartache for those who do not know the Lord. Much Love and God Bless!

I praise you Lord my God. I lift up daily thanksgivings to you. Forever grateful to have fallen under your wings Lord. You rescued my souls and brought me up out of the dirt.
My soul yearns for more of you, while my heart aches for those who are yet to know you. Knowing of your grace and love I ask for your path to be illuminated to my brothers. So that those whom I love, that you also love, become found and may find rest in your shade Lord God.
Hear my cry’s O’ Lord for my lost brothers. Those who continue to seek in all the wrong places. I pray that they stumble upon your grace and love like I did Lord.
While I continue to praise you Lord, I cannot forget my brothers who live in their unknown anguish.
Let my prayer today be one of thankfulness, for what’s been done in my life, and pleading for my brothers.
You hold all the power, forever and ever, Amen.

  1. This is so wonderful, Jaden. Personal psalms to the Lord always get me. They are so raw, real, and significant. Thank you for sharing this!

  2. Jinkies Jaden this is so good. This:

“Hear my cry’s O’ Lord for my lost brothers. Those who continue to seek in all the wrong places. I pray that they stumble upon your grace and love like I did Lord.
While I continue to praise you Lord, I cannot forget my brothers who live in their unknown anguish.”

pricks my heart. We share so much in the number of loyal, yet lost we have love for. The light inside you and your continued pursuit of growth and holiness will continue to say so much to those you love than words ever could. Fighting for you brother.

    Love Always,
    J-Breezy
