This is my About Me post. I wanted to share a little bit about myself and why I have chosen to go on The World Race.

Currently I am a Junior at Utah State University (Go Aggies!!) studying Agriculture Education. My plan is to graduate and teach plant and animal science classes in a public high school. I love people and I am always eager to help all those that I meet.

I was born in Portland, Oregon to two youth pastors in 2001. Sense then I have tagged along in many ministries with my Parents. Around when I was 3 years old my parents felt called to Ogden Utah to plant a church. Going on 18 years now, we are still in Utah and still very much in the business of loving Jesus and those all around us.

My childhood as a pastors kid was definitely different from those of my friends but one I am so thankful for. I got to see first hand the power of God and his Sons grace. To see the radical change in Ogden was a formative experience in my life. That’s why I feel called to participate in The World Race. To reach those that haven’t heard the gospel, to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked. This is our job as followers of Christ. As a young man in a world full of hate and despair, I hope to be a lamp that lets Gods love shine through.

I am at a pivotal age as an almost 21 year old. I can either choose to embrace my faith and lean into God, or I can walk away. One is an almost too easy step to take for many. That’s why I have decided to lean fully into my own walk of faith and serve the Lord the only way I know how, loving all those I meet.

So as I start this journey of faith and fellowship feel free to tag along. I am always in need of prayer and donations are always appreciated. I look forward to building the team that will support me on this incredible journey over the next year. Feel free to leave a comment and reach out, I’d love to hear from you.

God Bless
